Combining my 15 years of experience as a teacher with my expertise as an author, I inspire students to know they can be an author NOW! ​​ School visits are open for grades K-6. During the visit, in addition to a live reading and a Q&A, I give students a behind-the-scenes peek into being an author and share tips and tricks to becoming professional authors and/or illustrators. Visits include writing workshops that inspire imagination, teach writing principles, provide students with tools to become better writers, and align with curriculum outcomes. Visits are catered to the grade(s).​ K-2 includes an interactive presentation with movement. Visits for K-1 run for 30-45 minutes, while grades 2-6 run for 45-60 minutes. 

Whether I’m reading aloud to kindergarten, running a workshop with teachers, or delivering a keynote at a conference, I believe in designing learning experiences that are engaging and transformative. ​As an experienced educator, I am happy to cater a program to meet your needs.
